At the very first time, Laura and Ivan met on one cell community church activity held in Jakarta. Ivan experienced what is called as “love at first sight” to Laura, and without any further do, Ivan started his mission to closely know Laura. Unfortunately, during this time, love is one-sided only. Ivan and Laura got on their own lives. Laura went to concentrate on her college life as well as Ivan moved forward with his activity in working. 

What made Laura & Ivan get closed again? Covid-19 pandemic period. We all know that everything went online as well as all conversation from people to people, as it happened too in Laura and Ivan case. Ivan reopened communication again to Laura for the second time. They are separated in different city, Laura was in Pekalongan, Ivan was in Jakarta. However, communication became more tense, it was not only common conversations as friends but more. Initialized by messaging, phone calling and finally video calling, and it even got more frequent.

As time goes by, for some occasions, Laura had to come to Jakarta, Ivan decided to show his love in more clearly. They knew each other better. September 2021, Laura & Ivan are putting the commitment in a higher level, they are officially dating, even it must become a long distance relationship. The love journey continues. In July 2022, they are committed to moving forward for planning an engagement. In January 2023, engagement was held. It was attended by close families and relatives as well as some of their closest friends.

In August 2023, especially on a more specific date, August 5th, 2023, here we go, you will witness our holy matrimony and get invited to join the party as well. We are starting a new commitment, to live together until death do us part.

Quoting one famous celebrity's words recently, "LDR will not be difficult, if you meet the right person." 
And of course, it is Jesus who becomes the source, the center of our relationship.
